Attorney Iarrapino works with entrepreneurs, businesses, non-profits, and individuals to advance their interests in a wide variety of civil legal matters and commercial transactions. Drawing from his long background of advocacy in the public eye, Anthony also represents clients seeking strategic communication counseling to succeed in the court of public opinion.
Anthony entered private practice in 2015 after a decade of service as a public-interest lawyer representing environmental and public health causes. As a senior attorney at the Conservation Law Foundation, Anthony litigated several precedent-setting cases in state and federal court, and achieved landmark negotiated settlements with the U.S. Department of Justice, state agencies, municipalities, and a Fortune 500 Corporation. Anthony has extensive experience in public policy law, having helped the City of Burlington, Vermont craft ordinances on stormwater control and urban agriculture, and having led coalitions to legislative victories securing clean water protection, federal Wilderness designations, and state freedom of information reforms. Along with a team of farmers and finance experts working with the UVM Center for Sustainable Agriculture, Anthony co-authored the Guide to Financing the Community Supported Farm in 2012.
Anthony graduated magna cum laude from Boston College in 1998, and summa cum laude from Vermont Law School in 2003. He served as a law clerk to Justice Denise R. Johnson of the Vermont Supreme Court from 2003-2005. Anthony was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2003 and the Vermont Bar in 2005.
